Introduction
At Bookiyos, we are committed to providing a seamless platform for third-party sellers to offer their products to a global audience. This Seller Policy outlines the terms, responsibilities, and requirements for all sellers using our platform. By joining Bookiyos, you agree to comply with these terms to ensure a fair and transparent marketplace.

1. Seller Eligibility and Registration

To become a seller on Bookiyos, you must:

• Register with accurate, complete business information, including your legal business name, address, tax identification numbers, and other relevant documentation as required.

• Provide proof of identity and any other documentation needed to verify your eligibility as a seller.

• Ensure that you comply with all local, state, national, and international laws, including tax regulations, trade compliance, and consumer protection laws.

• Maintain up-to-date seller information on the Bookiyos platform at all times.

2. Product Listings and Requirements

• Accuracy of Listings: Sellers must ensure that all product descriptions are complete, accurate, and up-to-date, including condition, price, stock availability, and shipping options. Misrepresentation of products is strictly prohibited.

• Product Images: High-quality, clear images are required for each listing. The images must accurately depict the item being sold and should not be misleading in any way.

• Prohibited Items: Bookiyos does not allow the sale of illegal, counterfeit, or restricted items. Prohibited items include but are not limited to stolen goods, hazardous materials, and any item that violates intellectual property rights. Sellers found listing prohibited items will be subject to immediate suspension or termination.

• Compliance: Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all items comply with applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.

3. Pricing, Fees, and Payments

• Product Pricing: Sellers are free to set their own prices. However, price gouging or unfair pricing strategies are prohibited. Bookiyos reserves the right to review and take action on any pricing practices deemed unfair to customers.

• Commission and Fees: Bookiyos charges a commission on each sale made through the platform. In addition, there may be other fees such as transaction fees or listing fees, depending on the seller’s plan and country of operation. The fee structure will be outlined during seller onboarding and may be subject to periodic updates.

• Payment Terms: Payments will be made to sellers based on a pre-determined schedule (typically 7-14 days after the successful completion of an order). All transactions are subject to any pending refunds, chargebacks, or disputes.

• Currency Conversion: For international sellers, any conversion fees related to receiving payments in a foreign currency are the responsibility of the seller.

4. Order Fulfillment and Shipping Responsibilities

• Processing Orders: Sellers are required to promptly process and ship orders within the specified handling time as listed in their product details. Consistent failure to meet shipping deadlines may result in penalties, including reduced visibility on the platform or suspension.

• Shipping Standards: Sellers must use reliable shipping carriers and provide tracking information for all shipments. Items should be packaged securely to avoid damage during transit.

• Shipping Rates: Sellers can set their own shipping rates or use Bookiyos's integrated shipping solutions, where applicable. Overcharging for shipping is not permitted and may result in penalties or removal of listings.

• Late or Lost Shipments: Sellers are responsible for all aspects of shipping, including timely delivery. In cases of delayed or lost shipments, sellers must take reasonable steps to resolve the issue with the buyer, including issuing refunds or replacements if necessary.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Customer Service

• Return Policy: All sellers must adhere to Bookiyos's return policy, which generally allows customers to return products within 14 days of receipt, provided the items are in original condition. Sellers can specify their return policies, but they must meet the minimum standards set by Bookiyos.

• Refunds: Sellers are responsible for processing refunds for returned items promptly. Refunds must be issued through the Bookiyos platform to ensure proper tracking and customer service.

• Customer Service: Sellers are required to provide responsive customer service. Sellers must respond to customer inquiries, complaints, or issues within 24-48 hours. Failure to provide adequate customer service may result in penalties, including suspension or termination of the seller account.

6. Seller Responsibilities and Conduct

• Product Authenticity: Sellers must guarantee the authenticity of all products listed. The sale of counterfeit or unauthorized replicas is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

• Compliance with Laws: Sellers must ensure their business complies with all applicable laws, including product safety, labeling, and environmental regulations. This includes compliance with consumer protection laws in the jurisdictions where they sell.

• Tax Responsibilities: Sellers are responsible for collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable taxes related to their sales. Bookiyos may provide tools to assist sellers with tax calculations but does not assume liability for sellers’ tax compliance.

7. Violations and Account Termination

• Policy Violations: Sellers who fail to comply with Bookiyos's Seller Policy or engage in prohibited activities (e.g., selling restricted items, misrepresentation, fraud) may face penalties, including reduced search visibility, suspension, or permanent termination of their account.

• Account Termination: Bookiyos reserves the right to terminate a seller’s account without notice in cases of repeated violations, fraudulent activity, or if deemed necessary to protect the marketplace’s integrity.

• Appeals: Sellers may appeal any decisions regarding account suspension or termination. Appeals must include all relevant information and evidence to support the seller’s compliance with Bookiyos's policies.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a seller and a buyer, Bookiyos offers mediation services. Sellers are required to cooperate fully during the dispute resolution process and abide by Bookiyos's final decision. Failure to comply with dispute resolution guidelines may result in account penalties or termination.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

• Respect for IP: Sellers must ensure that all products listed on Bookiyos comply with intellectual property laws. The sale of counterfeit items or products that infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or patents is strictly prohibited.

• IP Violations: If a seller is found listing products that violate intellectual property rights, Bookiyos will take appropriate action, including product removal, account suspension, or legal recourse.

10. Amendments to the Seller Policy

Bookiyos reserves the right to update or amend this Seller Policy at any time. Sellers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the platform after changes have been implemented will constitute acceptance of the new policy.

11. Seller Code of Conduct

Sellers are expected to maintain the highest standards of ethical business practices, including:

• Honesty and Transparency: Providing accurate product descriptions and adhering to shipping and fulfillment promises.

• Professionalism: Treating all customers, Bookiyos staff, and other sellers with respect.

• Quality Control: Ensuring all products meet Bookiyos's quality standards and comply with local and international laws.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Seller Policy and any disputes arising out of it will be governed by the laws of the United States, and any legal proceedings will take place in the courts of Sheridan, WY, USA.
