Hello, I'm Laura Tinsley, a book author with an insatiable love for traveling the world. Born on April 14, 1985, in Asheville, North Carolina, I grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which sparked my early love for nature and storytelling. My parents, both passionate readers and adventurers, encouraged my curiosity and love for literature.I studied English Literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I immersed myself in the literary community. After graduation, I moved to New York City and worked in publishing, which paved the way for my writing career. In 2012, I published my debut novel, "Whispers of the Wanderer," and have since written several more books, each exploring themes of travel, identity, and the human experience.Traveling is my greatest passion. I've explored over 50 countries, from the markets of Marrakech to the temples of Kyoto, and these experiences continually inspire my writing. Through my novels, I aim to capture the essence of the places I've visited and the stories I've encountered along the way.When I'm not writing or traveling, I enjoy hiking, photography, and practicing yoga. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my wonderful husband, Mark, and our two rescue dogs, Bella and Max.
