Edward Shammas is an elementary educator with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board in Canada. Raised in Kuwait, Edward was a true third-culture kid who learned to appreciate and celebrate the beauty of Arab culture. He is passionate about teaching and working with English Language Learners and students with exceptionalities, using his writing and illustration to foster meaningful connections with readers.
