'My Socks are 2 Small 4 You' is my first Published Children's book. 'Your Socks are 2 Big 4 Me' is my Second PublishedChildren's Book. There are many more stories floating around me, waiting for me, to give them life! I have experienced many things in my life. Some of them creative, some of them not so much. When I was 8 years old, I was watching TV, when I said to myself, I want to do that! Something behind the scenes of TV! I carried that dream, thought, possibility, around me, for a lifetime of roads. It took me many years and many roads, before I could pursue that dream. Then In my mid 30's, I started volunteering at a Community TV Station, I was a natural and I excelled and I was hooked! I was a Female Camera Operator/ Videographer. The camera's were alot heavier in the late 90's! Yet I could carry them around, in my 5ft frame. just like the big Men. I was the handheld Camera Girl! "Pan left, no the other left" While in Community TV, I worked on a Variety, Talk show, where many actors, musicians, author's, sport stars and local people walked into that studio. We had the best local variety show in the city, because the crew made it that way. Better than the big channels. Even a Young Michael Bublé came by for numbers of visits. What a nice person he still is! I was also a background extra, in film and tv. That was another dream I had! I got to cross the paths of many famous people on set. Tom Cruise was many favorite. It was very cold that night, on Ghost Protocol, but a few of us were able to stand by the heater to warm up and chat with Mr. Cruise. Recently, I was presented with a new Challenge, I have been diagnosed with MS, Multiple Sclerosis, or as I call it, "THE ALIEN within Me"....because I cant spell the word with the "S"The Alien has taken alot from me, but not my ability to make kids laugh, or laugh with them! And my story will go from here... I miss my Motorcycle, I miss my bike, I miss my Snowboard, my inline skates, my ice skates....but mostly I miss just going for a walk. Or dancing like no one is watching at a Matchbox Twenty Concert. I have the best Rock Story ever, with Matchbox Twenty! Which I need to write about someday? Matchbox, you will always remain the 'M'' in my name! Hey Alien, I will make a Pizza out of the Pizza dough you have deposited on my spine.
