Born in Brooklyn NY, I am the product of a proud Italian dad and a Texan mom, the last of 4 children. I was raised on Long Island and at the beginning of adulthood served 4 years in the Air Force. A little over 20 years ago, I was “bitten” by the writing bug. I didn’t know what to do or how, but I knew I wanted to write. So I took several courses, attended a couple of writing conferences, joined a writing group for a while, did a lot of practice writing, wrote a few short stories and three books (novellas, actually) for young adults and children. My fourth attempt and first Christian novel, “Double-Edge Blade”, was published in December 2010 by Tate Publishing. Since then I have self-publish sequels "Brooklyn Salt" and "Wretched."Now retired, I have been an electronics engineer, a technical writer, and a technical college instructor. My position at the Supreme Court of Virginia IT Department as a technical writer and trainer seems to have been the culmination of all the prior job experiences I have had. I have been happily married for 49 years, have three children and nine grandchildren. I live in Chesterfield outside of Richmond, Virginia.I love to read, write, learn, travel and go out with my bride for dinner and a movie. Oh, I also want to be an astronaut when I grow up.I have been a Christian for over 40 years and have served as church elder, deacon and Sunday school teacher for adults and youth, and in the Prison Fellowship ministry as an inmate instructor.Here's my bottom line: I am driven by a deep concern for the many young adults - some in my extended family - who have ruined or lost their lives in the hopeless pursuit of abundant life without God. My aim, through enjoyable and uplifting stories, is to help people of all ages find the path intended for them by the Creator in an oftentimes chaotic and confusing world.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
