Dr. Yvonne Henderson, the youngest of three, she has been married and divorced, and has one son, who is the love of her life. Not only is she an author, but a seamstress/designer and entrepreneur as well. Dr. Henderson has been a Reading and Language Arts Teacher for over 20 years. Teaching writing for so many years, and creating authors within my classrooms, I never thought I would be a published author, but here I am. I have a passion to motivate and encourage., this is just the beginning. I will also be launching some training materials and children's books in the near future under my own publishing company, so stay tuned for new releases.My first book was my dissertation on training substitute teachers, which will be published soon. However, my first published book happens to be a devotional, although I did not grow up in the church, I was always surrounded by The Word of God, it has always played a part in my life. Once out of high school, I began studying the Bible more. This devotional came out of a hurt place, the lost of my parents, my son's father and separation from my family.
