He describes the move to tactical daylight bombing as Nazi Germany is defeated. From humble beginnings growing up during the Great Depression in Victoria Australia, Geoff played cricket against Donald Bradman, joined the Australian Army then the Royal Australian Air Force and finished more than thirty operations in Avro Lancaster bombers.
Did his life unravel after finishing a tour of thirty operations? His wartime mates have categorized him as ``wild'' during the war. Writing in his late 70s in 2000 - 2001, Geoff has chronicled in this story a very honest description of his early life.
