Our curriculum is designed by me. My name is Tammy, and I have been homeschooling for almost 25 years. I studied World Religions but left to become a fulltime mama bear. Three years ago, I realized I was not happy with any of the curriculums I had purchased throughout the years! I decided to create our own using all the things I loved about the curriculums I had used, and leaving the stuff I did not like out! I wanted to create curriculum, that focused on God and His word, and something my grandchildren, would enjoy learning. We offer several options, as I have different style of learners and I am sure you do too. I have never found a one size fits all curriculum and will not claim ours is either. Deep Inside the Forest Curriculum is deeply rooted in the truth of God’s Word. It seeks to cultivate wonder and wisdom in students while nurturing a love for God.1.Family-Style Approach: Deep Inside the Forest Curriculum is designed to accommodate multiple children of different ages. Parents can homeschool their children together, fostering a sense of unity and shared learning.2. Biblical Integration: Each subject is designed to teach the living Bible, to seek to read God's Word with a new purpose of seeing each lesson and how God orchestrated all. Children learn to read the pages with awe. Scripture verses show God's love for us and remind us of God’s promises. 3.Passing on the Faith: Children’s hearts are most receptive to the gospel during their formative years. In summary, a God-centered curriculum isn’t just about academics; it’s about shaping eternal souls. Let’s prioritize Christ in education, watering the roots for generations to come.4. Secular Humanism’s Influence is LEFT OUT: In today’s educational landscape, secular humanism dominates. Children spend years studying humanist ideas, often devoid of God’s presence. We must address the root issues, not just the surface problems.Deep Inside the Forest Curriculum is not just about knowledge; it’s about encountering the Author of Creation. It’s about listening to the whispers of eternity carried through the pages of our Bibles. So, dear homeschooling adventurer, gather your little ones and go on a learning journey like no other! Where you’ll find more than lessons—you’ll find God and His creations. All our books are offered in pdf on the website. And most of them are on Amazon if you prefer an actual book.We have children with a few different challenges, and I wanted to create better material for them. Therefore, our handwriting books are designed to help with the following issues.Dyspraxia - Learners with dyspraxia often struggle with fine motor skills.Dyslexia - gives rise to insecurities and avoidance of writing, which means handwriting skills become an afterthought, and work can be messy with plenty of corrections and erasure marks.ADHD - Attention difficulties can affect a child's handwriting skills, mainly when there is hyperactivity is present.Dysgraphia. When a child struggles with writing and has no other physical or mental impairment, they may be diagnosed with dysgraphia. This can describe a wide range of symptoms, from the inability to form letters to producing ungrammatical text that does not match the individual's oral communication skills. Our materials are considered outside the box, not your standard text and workbooks. These are designed to keep creative children engaged and allow them to learn in a way that is unique to them. We started creating material based on a need we saw and have tried to fulfill that need. We aim to give children and parents materials to help them become independent and confident learners.I wanted to give parents a creative way to teach their children and allow them the freedom to guide the lessons where they feel it is best for their family. Our online business allows us the freedom to live life and serve God. We live in a small town and love it here. We also love to travel and see our nation. We have many farm animals as well as other animals. We raise our chickens and a huge garden each summer. Our ministry is currently helping in supporting an orphanage in Uganda with 22 children. In our Genesis curriculum, you will learn about the children and the man who runs the orphanage. As our business grows, we would love to get them into a more secure and safer housing situation. My dream is to travel there and meet them all. My dream for my business in the states is to one day open a learning center where children learn forgotten skills. .
