First published in 1930, these 26 Australian Aboriginal Legends were collected by Catherine Stow (K. Langloh Parker) in the 1890s from her time at Bangate Station in New South Wales.

None are in her previous collections Australian Legendary Tales (1896) and More Australian Legendary Tales:Realizing . .
