My oldest daughter, Jill, liked hearing the same story over and over again before she went to bed. To break the routine I began writing stories that were loosely based on current events in her life.The duct tape series began several years ago just before Halloween. We were making her an R2D2 costume out of a garbage can and duct tape. We were both pleasantly surprised with the results. She took one look at the finished costume and said "wow, you are Daddy duct tape." The catchy name stuck and the children's book series was born.We have four daughter and daddy duct tape books edited and illustrated so far: Golden Birthday, Bearly Surviving, Clash of Dinosaurs and Tornado Jacqueline. We have dreams of completing many more. I have three younger children, Jacob, Jacqueline and Joshua that I hope will some day contribute to the series. When I am not reading or writing children's stories I am an operations excellence management consultant.
