Professor Alfonso J Kinglow have been teaching Computers and Networking for many years at DACC/ NMSU Dona Ana Community College of New Mexico State University, in Las Cruces, NM. He is a Computer Systems Engineer by trade, with more than 35 years’ experience, and is a registered Microsoft Developer. He started a Computer Class for seniors and beginners, five years ago at Munson Senior Center in Las Cruces, NM. and now at Shadow Mountain Senior Center, in Phoenix, Arizona.,where he serves as a Volunteer. His classes now at the Shadow Mountain Senior Center have been very successful and are always full. Professor Kinglow received the October 2013 Volunteer Spotlight Award, from The City of Las Cruces Senior Programs, he has received many awards throughout his career. He is featured in “Las Cruces Magazine “published by realView Publishing Spring/Winter 2013 Edition.His second Book “Not Just Another Computer Book for Advanced Users” shares Professor Kinglow’s vision in bringing modern technology to advanced users and seniors with some knowledge of computers, in a very basic and comprehensive format using a technique he developed called” .gbf or Graphics-Box-Format “where text is converted and displayed in rectangular boxes enabling visual learning of the data or information presented, making it easy to convey the information to the readers. Some of the hidden Codes built into Windows are presented to the users to enable them to maintain, clean, troubleshoot and setup their own security of the hardware and software on their machines and devices. The Graphics Box Format (.gbf) is in review and could become another Standard for Document editing like .pdf, .doc, .rtf in the near future. Pofessor Kinglow have recently moved to Arizona where he published an updated version of his first book called " Not just Another Computer Book Two" and also his first non technical autobiographic work, based on true events and his past NDE experience, his faith and first encounter with people of light, this book is called" The Message and the Light" and is available now. Professor Kinglow latest book published in November 2016 is called" The Computer Graphics Book" for Seniors and Beginners"; and is available on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble Bookstores. His latest and new book " AROMA" a Costa Rica Coffee Experience", just published on October 2017 shows another side of Professor Kinglow expertise with" Coffee". He spent many years in Colombia and Costa Rica, where he lived, went to school and taught at the local Universities. His family and friends own Coffee plantations in both countries and he is familiar with all the Coffee plantations and Coffee growing regions of those countries. He describes his experiences with Coffee, the different brands, and how to prepare a great cup of Coffee with Aroma, and his personal contacts and what he learned at the Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia ( FNC) and at Cenicafe', one of the largest Coffee Research Centers of the World. Professor Kinglow latest book " The Complete Windows 10 Book"; is in review and will be published shortly.In this new book, he brings technology from Windows 7,8 and 10 that were hidden from the users into one Book in a very plain and comprehensive format using graphics that makes it easy to understand, and empowers the user with new knowledge of Computer Technologies.Professor Kinglow latest books are: Windows System and User Tools, and was published in 2018.
