Stevie Lyons is an actress/director/writer whose body of work spans numerous genres and styles. With over twenty years of experience in the entertainment industry, Stevie began as an actress then later moving into the production side of both theatre and film. Moving to North Bay in 2009, she founded the theatre company, Paradox Repertory Company, for which she was the Artistic Director for ten years and served on the board for Students on Stage of North Bay for seven years. She additionally achieved degrees in Theatre Arts (Canadore College, 2011), Digital Cinematography (Canadore College, 2017), a post-graduate certificate in Post Production (Canadore College, 2018) and her BA Honours Specialization in English with an emphasis on early modern drama. Having worked on over fifty theatrical productions and almost a hundred film projects over the past decade, Stevie has written and directed eight short narrative films, a short documentary, and two feature films. Her first independent feature film, Lavenders Blue, had its premiere in February of 2019 and her second feature, The Beauty of Blood and Shadow, is expected to be released in late 2023. In January of 2023 she joined the faculty of Canadore College, teaching advanced editing techniques in the Digital Cinematography program.
