Thandisizwe Chimurenga is an award-winning, freelance journalist based in Los Angeles, CA. She has written for New America Media; the Los Angeles Watts Times, Sentinel and Wave newspapers; the Final Call; Black Agenda Report; Ebony; CounterPunch, Truth-Out and Daily Kos. She is a former radio reporter for the KPFK Evening News (Pacifica-Los Angeles) and Free Speech Radio News (FSRN).
