Verneda Harris is a recently retired 22-year Us Army Officer with specialties in Human Resource Administration, Training, and Public Affairs. Her military service led her to a second retirement in local federal and state government, and in the corporate sector, specializing in organizational behavior and human resource development leadership.Since childhood, Verneda has shown an affinity for inspiring and helping others to be their best. Her career specialties nurtured and grew her passion, empowering her to assist others in assessing their potential, discovering their talents, overcoming obstacles, and enabling them to add value to anything they participated in.Since retiring, she has become aware that children are at greater risk of failure to achieve their potential today than the adults she engaged with in her 50-year career. She is concerned that Satan has opened his floodgates to a roaring lion, releasing every demon imaginable into the world and gaining too much of an advantage, with children as a major target.Children are left inundated with forces presenting them with choices leading to devastation rather than attainment of potential. Adults equipped spiritually with restorative life perspectives to lead children to God’s truth and wisdom, propelling them through the mire and into promising futures seem to have become less and less in number every day.Verneda wrote Squirt as a reminder that God’s love is everywhere and can be manifested with focused and purposeful working, giving attention to replacing certain perils with hopefulness. In particular, there is a need for leading God’s little ones to discovery of the plans that He has so perfectly prepared for them. And for seeking out children who have little prospect of even hearing about the Gospel; informing them that they are granted free will and have a right to walk away from the myriad of ruinous influences beckoning them to destruction, and into the body of the living Christ as a viable life-saving choice that they may not have heard of. Verneda hopes that Christians will revisit their first promises to the covenant, rededicating their regenerated hearts that Christ first gave them to pursuit of walking worthy of the vocations to which they were called.
