About meI was born into a wonderful American family in Washington D.C., the third of three siblings, with two exceptional parents. As a girl, I was always into sports, and since I was little, I attended many fitness classes. I had a serene and happy adolescence, crowned by a beautiful love story.After 4 years of true love, just when I was about to get married, my boyfriend left me, and I began to experience my first panic attacks. The final blow came a few months later when my father passed away: since then, I fell into depression, completely stopped exercising, gained over 40 pounds, and hardly ever left the house because I felt ugly and afraid of being around people.I didn't want to be happy anymore, and I'm not ashamed to say that I had frequent suicidal thoughts. I owe it to my friends who slowly pushed me to come out of it; I owe it to them that I'm still here. I started practicing Pilates first, and in a few months, I managed to regain my former shape. Then I discovered Yoga and Somatic exercises, which were a turning point for me: I gradually regained confidence in myself, felt better, panic attacks decreased until they disappeared, and I healed from all the traumas I had carried for so long. Now, on the threshold of 40, after 15 years and more of practice and teaching, I have decided to help all the people who, like me, have suffered because we all deserve to be well!
