Ed episodi come quello della battaglia di Azio, con la nave di Mecenate che viene abbordata dalla nave-cucina di Cleopatra e lui stesso che rischia di essere sopraffatto perché bersagliato di uova e di frittate, mentre suo cognato Murena sta per esser cotto allo spiedo dall'Arcicuoco d'Egitto, sono invenzioni degne di Rabelais.
