Born on the 4th of March 1951, on a farm, Kleynhansrust, in Kroonstad, Free State, South Africa.Joined the South African Police force in 1968 but due to a love of nature, he felt it call out to him and started farming in 1971, in Aliwal North. He became a part time hunter and adventurer, and later found employment at the South African Development Trust, as a nature conservationist and agriculture officer, while raising his son alone. Trying times and financial struggles has engraved the single father's footsteps unto his road, which had ultimately led him back to his birthplace, where he could still pursue his career in working with animals and nature. The family farm, his birthplace, Kleynhansrust, was also where his life-long dream of becoming a writer was birthed into this world. A dream of writing poetry, short stories and novels.Thus far, he has written over 32 Novels, 2 Poetry bundles, involved with several writer's collaborations and won numerous awards and acknowledgements in the writing/author community.Even though his reflection has changed over the years, he still believes in his heart, that he would always remain a dreamer, a poet and a seeker of nature's secrets.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
