This collection of 55 poems is the first published work by Anonymous Lenore. It is a labor of love that started as private writing exploring the darker aspects of the author's adult life, as shadow work that was never meant to be shared.

However, as Lenore read her poems, she realized there are others who would relate and see themselves in her words which include unflinching looks at painful experiences and trauma common for many people, especially women, in today’s society. She believed that her poetry could be of some comfort and some benefit to the people who resonate with her story.

There are many triggers in this poetry, as is the nature of this work. There is pain, loss, anger and some hope and inspiration waiting to be discovered in these verses.

Lenore believes that her Journey Through Shadow series, which includes this collection, could help others as they work through their own shadows. Please enter thoughtfully and seek help if needed or desired.
