VICTORY OF THE LAMB is the second book in the Way of the Lamb Series. It focuses on the second half of Yeshua's ministry and mission.

Yeshua is in relentless pursuit of those who have become lost from God and held captive by sin. His mission is to regather those people much like a shepherd gathers his lost sheep.

Now, his progressing mission has taken a serious turn. As the mass of his followers grows, dangerous powers and principalities have become determined to stop him and destroy the people's fledgling faith.

Powerful men desire to keep his kingdom as their own. Their pursuit becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse.

But before he can allow himself to fall into their hands, his disciples must complete their training and become unified for battles that lie ahead. The journey has not been easy for his followers.

They struggle with doubts despite the awesome power of God they see at work in Yeshua. In many ways, he still remains an enigma; his teachings confound them, and he continually leads them into challenging and unexpected places and situations.

And he continues to draw a following of rather unimpressive people from questionable backgrounds. Following the death of the Baptizer, Yeshua has become a marked man.

Conflict and tension escalate, making their mission unpredictable, and at times, treacherous. Now the disciples are full of questions.

They want to know, 'What is Yeshua's long-term goal?' While they wait for an epiphany, he begins warn them that he will die on a cross. They immediately reject this thought.

Resolved, Yeshua remains unyielding in this dire prophecy, even though at times it threatens to overwhelm him. The disciples are left to ask themselves:- Is he the Anointed One foretold from ancient times?- How is it that he is both human and divine?- When and how will he rise to power, and when will his kingdom come?- If his prophecy comes true, who should lead the movement?- Will they be forced to die on a cross, too? They have a bad feeling about where the journey is headed.

And yet, they find they cannot stop following Yeshua. He has captured their hearts; they simply love him too much.
