Hi, my name is Chris Hughes. My educational journey has taken me around the world, starting in Taiwan through to Mainland China. As a teacher, I've had the privilege of guiding students from preschool to high school, and I've also tutored international students at the university level and proofread academic papers, which has been a very rewarding experience.My writing initially started as a personal endeavor, a way to make some educational stories for my children. It was a friend who saw the potential in these and suggested they might appeal to other parents and learners. My books combine fictional narratives with non-fiction topics, aiming to teach real-world science and subjects in a way that is both fun and educational. I strive to keep my writing concise and accompanied by illustrations, breaking down information into enjoyable, easy-to-understand bits.Although I'm relatively new to the publishing world, the feedback I've received so far has been overwhelmingly positive, which is both humbling and inspiring. The inspiration for my storytelling style comes from the 'Tell Me Why' series of books, a staple of my childhood that left a deep impression on me.In addition to writing, I also have a background in IT and a strong interest in the ever-evolving technology industry. I'm a sci-fi enthusiast and have a wide range of interests and hobbies.I'm always looking for inspiration for new books and exploring topics I can delve into next.
