Joe McCormick (Author)
Joe is a Viet Nam era veteran who served on board the USS Puget Sound (AD38) as a Machinist Mate and a firefighter. Joe also worked as a Drug awareness educator and a Drug abuse counselor. After the service, he served twice as a Word over the world ambassador (state-side missionary) in Petersburg Virginia. and Boise Idaho. Joe changed his five year career as a cosmetologist to being a real estate investor, buying "fiixer-uppers" and renting them. This led him into opening his own brokerage named Home Marketing Specialist. To help Joe advertise his listings, he started a monthly tabloid named "Hoosier Marketing." Joe wrote articles in his magazine which led him into writing his first paperback "Up on Plane." Taking the advise of Jean Shepherd (writer of the motion picture the Christmas story) Joe took a class in screen writing at Hollywood screen writing institute. Now that Joe is retired, he writes his mini-novels like screen plays, quick and to the point.
