Fear in the original Greek Biblical text for that verse is (φοβέω). Meaning; To be in awe of, that is, revere.

This will give you some idea from the original language translation from Greek to Latin, then to the English King James. Literal translation gives very little to understanding scriptures from a spiritual awareness of living.
