I’m Philip Williams, a single dad from Farwell, MI. I have turned personal trials into sources of inspiration and guidance for many. My journey has been one of discovery, courage, and profound transformation, and I invite you to join me on this path.From age 5, I knew my path wouldn't be what society expected. Growing up, I felt girl clothes weren't comfortable; they were ugly, and so was I when I was made to wear them. Wearing boy clothes made me feel "normal"; they felt right, and I had confidence. These experiences and going through my transition journey led me to write True Story of Becoming Me: Navigating the Transgender Journey with Actual Steps and Personal Insights, which offers a raw and honest look into the transgender experience. I aim to support and inspire others on similar journeys through my book.With a background in DBT training and counseling and having gone through each step of transitioning to the man I knew I was meant to be, I knew it was my mission and privilege to help and support the trans community around the world. I have always been a dedicated advocate for PFLAG and LGBTQ+. My experiences have equipped me to convey powerful stories that resonate deeply with readers.When I’m not writing, I spend time with my 3-year-old daughter, do taxes at H&R Block, refurbish wood furniture, and create wood-burnt art. These activities often spark new ideas and perspectives for my work. I continuously seek new ways to connect with and inspire my audience.I love engaging with readers and am active on Facebook.
