Shelli Marie was born and raised in an urban neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. This is where she began reading street literature, mainly because she could relate to it. In 2001, she moved to Arizona, where she currently resides. Although it was a great challenge for her, she was anxious to chase her dreams.
