I am a retired RN who, when not writing, can be found romping through the mountains of Montana with my family, cooking new and exciting(?) meals, playing with my grandson and crazy Mastiff, and caring for our two chronically ill (Zebras) teenage daughters. I am a wife, a mother to four daughters, a mother-in-law to a wonderful son, and YaYa to my darling grandson. Life is not all roses and sunshine, though. There are several days a month when I am unable to write due to the increased activity of my disease. I have rheumatoid disease, which is being treated with weekly injections and daily oral medications.Our two youngest daughters have a rare auto-inflammatory disease, and I am their at-home medical caregiver. There are just 1200 people in the world with their disease, and treatment can be difficult to obtain at times.But we press on, persevere, and try to live life to its fullest.I started writing these books as bedtime stories for my youngest, who was 12 at the time. She loved to read but couldn’t find many books of interest to her. As I was writing Through the Tree, at bedtime, she would request what I had written that day. I would send it to her email so she could read it on her iPad. On the days I couldn’t write due to my disease flare-ups, she was very disappointed. This progressed into a full-size book with enough material for a second book and I’m working on the third book in the series. My family so enjoyed reading what I had written, they encouraged me to publish, believing others would love to read my books.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
