Raven Blackfeather, a Native American of Choctaw Cherokee descent, has been writing short stories and poetry of a dark and ominous nature her entire life. She has won numerous awards for her poetry, including Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. Vampires, and "things that go bump in the night," have always been her favorite subjects, as she writes about them constantly, not only in her stories, but her poems as well. Her interest in vampires in her poems led her to writing books about them. She is also into paranormal activities and studies about things that can't be explained so easily. Cryptids are a new obsession for her, and she has done a lot of research on different cryptids from around the world.
