I write what I love to read, which usually is "clean" suspense and thrillers often set in places I have lived in or traveled to. A lot of my writing is set in South Korea because I have lived here for almost two decades (almost half of my life).Let me share a bit more about myself. I'm a writer, poet, and professor, originally from Texas but, as I wrote above, transplanted to South Korea. I teach at Handong Global University, a Christian university in Pohang. Yes, my writing is often imbued with my faith in Jesus, but I write to a general readership (think "The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Eco or "Silence" by Shusaku Endo, where the character's faith is a part of the storytelling but the novel is not "preachy"). I live here in Pohang with my wonderful wife and son. I've written multiple novels in two series (so far), over 50 short stories, and over 1,200 poems, many of which are inspired by my experiences in the US and Korea and my travels around this beautiful world God has created.I love storytelling and am eager to share with you my passions.
