This book is a must read for those in the Ushering department andfor whoever wishes to understand the operations of Ushers. TheUshering department remains a very important and supportivedepartment that brings order and allow for things to be donedecently and seamlessly.

This corroborates the word of God in 1Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order”. The Author of this book has done an exposition on the typical dayand role(s) of Ushers; who have varied responsibility in the schemeof things, especially in the church.

As stated in this book, the role ofan Usher sometimes goes beyond the traditional role of welcomingmembers and visitors into the church, serving as security/protocoland working as sanctuary cleaners, who ensure that the churchpremises are kept neat and tidy for each service. It is instructive to note that the services, roles and responsibilitiesof Ushers cannot be underestimated but valued as very crucial forco-workers in the vineyard of God.
