Born in Newark, New Jersey, I was brought into this world not knowing what I was going to become as an adult. Growing up I was a quiet girl of a few words. Being an only child growing up, I was shy and wasn’t big on keeping company around me because I was use to being to myself. Every night before bed, I would remember my mother reading to me. She would at least get two to three books in before she dozed off. I would take over and tried to read, even though I couldn’t pronounce the words as a little girl, but the pictures spoke louder and had me amazed on how authors created their own worlds and left you shocked, happy, or tearful. Seeing that I knew I wanted to be just like that when I grew up, an author. Mid 2017, I had moved to North Carolina with my beautiful two children at the time for a better lifestyle and new scenery. Moving from the city to the country life was a big change, and it took me awhile to adapt to it, but I love every bit of it because seeing my children happy, made me happy. Since 2020, I have become a mother of three children, they are my world, my motivation, my angels. They motivated me to push forward to do better than before and go above and beyond for them. My inspiration was my nana. Seeing her strive for the best and stay strong, never complaining or showing any frustration with the many obstacles she faced in life. She was called home to be with God, February 18, 2022. Miss her dearly, but know she is watching over me smiling. Along with praying daily, writing is now my medicine. I must write to feel better, just as music is my go-to when I am feeling down. I thank God for giving me the courage to write, and people in my life to push me forward to do what I love doing. I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon, I have a whole lot of stories to tell and hope you all enjoy them as much as I did writing for you.Read more about this authorRead less about this author
