Pauline Ngunjiri (Pauline Waruguru Mwangi) is an award-winning journalist and author of two books, "My Big Question: Where Is God?" and "The Street Party". Waruguru was born and raised in Kenya, where she began her journalism career. She worked as a journalist for two widely circulated newspapers, The Daily Nation and The Standard. She also worked for Scripture Union of Kenya and Trans World Radio and published articles in "Beyond", "Step" and "Parents" magazines. She relocated to St. Kitts and Nevis, West Caribbean) where she worked for newspapers in both islands among them, "St. Kitts and Nevis Observer", "The St. Kitts and Nevis Mirror", "News Link", and online newspapers SKNvybes and Nevis Pages. Waruguru has worked for local and international non-profits in senior positions, including as a former Executive Director of the Nevis Historical and Conservation Society and a former co-coordinator of the Society for Women and Aids in Kenya (SWAK). She has been a volunteer at Pink Lily Cancer Care and is a passionate advocate for the protection of the environment and access to health care.
