Steve “Doc” LeShay is a game inventor, author, retired university professor, and U.S. Naval Air Reserve Commander. He lives with his wife and cat in central Florida and enjoys playing intramural softball.He earned a Ph.D. in communications from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and taught at three different universities over 35 years. He also served four years of active duty (at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, during the Cuban Missile Crisis) and 22 years with a combat camera team in the Naval Air Reserve during which time he wrote the script for American actor John Wayne's last film, a documentary about the Navy Seabees. He's traveled and worked in 30 different countries, including six years abroad in six European countries with U.S. and NATO military bases. He is the publisher of SherCo GrandSlam Baseball, a tabletop baseball game that first came to market in 1968.
