You carry it with you in the diamond of your heart, yes, but also in the diamond of the heart of every cell, of every organ, of every being that contains you and that you contain. You have been told that it died, but deep in your heart, you know that it is alive and ready to resurrect for you as soon as you ask it to.

Dear reader,This book is not a feminist pamphlet or anything like that. With all due respect to any ideology, I consider that we, human beings, already have plenty of beliefs.

That’s why, when I write, I let myself be carried away by the mystery of creative action. And, ta-da, then the magic happens inside me to become aware of the beliefs that are limiting me and, therefore, no longer serve me.

Writing The Seed of Love has helped me change my thoughts and walk through life lighter, more fluidly, and for this, I thank the inspiration that guides me. This is not a religious book either.

With all my respect for any religion in the world, I feel the need to declare that the book does not intend to follow or create any dogma, there are already too many that we carry on our backs. I believe that spirituality is a private matter of each one of us and it depends on our individual experiences to find and cultivate it.

For me, spirituality has to do with happiness and enjoying life, although this is my experience. I love telling stories, which is why writing The Seed of Love has helped me grow spiritually, not so much for the content of the book as for the enjoyment of being able to do something I love.

Last, I want to also declare that this is not a historical book, but a love story. With all due respect to history as an empirical science, I dare say that this is nothing more than a collection of data, and beyond that, everything is subject to interpretation.

The official interpretations that have been made of the protagonists of this novel have always left a bad taste in my mouth, that’s why I decided to tell the story my way with a happy ending included. What you are about to read is fiction, loaded with the magic of love that is in my heart and that I have enjoyed a lot during the whole process of its creation.

Besides, what the hell, at the end of the day, the past is reduced to a set of beliefs that we were told, and we tell ourselves, so I prefer to believe my own story, which has more possibilities of leading me to a more beautiful future: my own. Let’s travel through these pages and live the adventure of discovering what they must give you in particular.
