I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and through subsequent moves spent the majority of my formative years in New Rochelle, NY (Westchester County).I attended The Philadelphia Textile Institute. I have been a prolific reader for most of my life. I was first introduced to the joy of free-style writing, and encouraged to pursue it, by my college English Professor.My business career began in the textile industry, which is where my international travels began. These travels included Canada, northern South America, some areas of Central America, western Europe, and a number of Caribbean islands; Cuba being the most often visited. I wrote for my college newspaper and, in business, prepared advertising copy for both local and national printed media. My first exercise in fiction, was a demonstrative writing for my older son. I was more than pleased with the results and although "hooked", never went any further with serious writing, until now.My first work of fiction, The Secret of Black Lake, is a suspense/thriller - horror novel.I enjoy woodworking, cooking, and when time permits, fishing and travel.
