Everyone has secrets, things that other people don’t know about. Perhaps it’s just embarrassing or more serious and should be kept secret.

As a “normal” teenage boy, I, Elbert Zeng, have those things. But my secrets are extremely unique.

Through my secrets, I’ve come up with strange terms and weird plans, given people special status, and as a result, my secret life has combined with my normal life to form stories. But after years of hiding my secret life from everyone, I am finally revealing the story behind my deepest secret, which I call the “problem.

”Until I reached middle school, I was a relatively happy kid. But at the end of 6th grade, I discovered a “problem” that says I supposedly cannot fit in among my peers.

As a result, in middle school, I struggled with depression, as I tried to figure out how to solve the “problem. ”It’s 9th grade now.

I had thought of lots of people who had unknowingly helped me with my struggle with the “problem,” yet I still felt that I didn’t fit in with any of the friend groups I encountered at school. I would start to wonder if I would ever deal with this issue…especially as I kept encountering a person who symbolized my trouble fitting in…and as I became aware of a deadline that was slowly but surely ticking down…If you dare to delve into my world of secrets, then join me in looking back at the details of my first trial in my secret life, in this potential start of a series.
