James Randall “Randy” McGraw (born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US, in 1968) is an American multinational business executive and Permanent Resident of Japan. A recognized expert in Strategy and Business Development in the digital space, he has served as the Senior Director of BD at Hughes Electronics/DIRECTV and Head of BD at Singtel's Group Digital Life. Following several years as the Managing Director of Altus Capital's digital division (an IFC affiliate company) where his team built prop-tech and social commerce platforms, he led BD for Amazon in Japan where he built Prime's largest global 3rd-party distribution deal (with NTT DoCoMo) and integrated mobile commerce partnerships with KDDI and Softbank. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at True Digital Group, the digital arm of Thailand's largest telco. He remains an active angel investor and consultant in Southeast Asia and Japan through his company, M2 Ventures.Randy holds a BS in Economics and Public Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Certificate in Strategy from Cornell University.
