Christine Jones I am very sorry to learn about your father and brother experieneces. I assume when you mention abervergan you actually mean aberfan, where116 children and 28 adults lost their lives through a land slip of coal slurry. i have every sympathy for your father digging through the slurry of coal after the horrendous rainfall, it must of been what we call a bad job.Regarding your brother, incidents with children always hurt the most, I to have pulled a 2 year old out of the springs of a burnt settee but I chose not to write about in my book.
