Jermaine V. Moore Sr. was born April 8, 1983 in Brunswick, Georgia. Raised in the church by his mother the late Emma Moore and father the late Bishop William T. Moore, Bishop Jermaine Moore Sr. accepted Christ and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost at the age of twelve. Bishop Jermaine Moore Sr. began preaching at the age of twelve, under the guidance of Bishop W.T. Moore. As years progressed, Bishop Jermaine Moore Sr. pursued the perfection of his God-given musical gift. Over the years he has produced a myriad of recordings including five of his own; "J Moore with Worship & Praise", "2 HOT 2 B KOOL LIVE 2006", "Higher Live 2012", "Greater Live 2015", and “Beyond the Gates Live 2018”. Bishop Jermaine V Moore Sr. has traveled across the country ministering to thousands. He has ministered several times at the Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Christ, the Father's House International House of Prayer, Mount Moriah African Methodist Episcopal Church, Temple of Grace Missionary Baptist Church, Philadelphia the Overcomers Church of Deliverance, The Word Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Plus or Minus 60 Television, WTOV9, the Ohio Heraldstar, and a myriad of radio stations. October 17, 2007 Bishop Moore married Tikisha Moore. Bishop Moore Sr. is the proud father of Jakeden and Jermaine V. January 2013 Bishop Jermaine V. Moore Sr. completed his biblical studies at the Wings of Faith Bible College, graduating with his Ph.D. June 2013 Bishop Moore Sr. founded the Freedom Place Family Worship Center in Inverness, Florida. November of 2016, Bishop Jermaine V. Moore Sr was called to pastor the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Steubenville, Ohio. It is very apparent, that Bishop Moore and Mount Zion was a match made in Heaven. Bishop Jermaine V Moore is also the acclaimed author of his books entitled “Speech Therapy”, “God in the Middle of Chaos”, “Building Bridges and Tearing Down Walls”, “Become Who You Are”, “Foundations of Christianity”, “The Power of Tithe and Offering”, “The Power of Intercessory Prayer”, and “Episcopacy”. Moore Sr. was appointed Pastor’s & Minister’s Division Chairman for the United Missionary Baptist State Convention of Ohio, by State President Ivory K Jones III. Bishop Moore Sr. pours all of himself into the ministry of blessing God's people. Bishop Moore also serves as an active member and appointed official of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, better known as the NAACP. Saturday October 9, 2021 Bishop Jermaine V. Moore Sr. was reaffirmed as the presiding bishop of the One Body Covenant Fellowship by Bishop Bruce V. Parham of Wilmington, Delaware, Bishop Harry Eugene Bellinger of Columbus, Ohio, and Bishop Gerald Loyd of Pittsburgh, Pa.
