Welcome, friend—if I may call you so. I am a Norwegian with a belly full of stories. That is why I became a writer—because I want to share all these stories with you.I have been writing stuff my whole life, but it wasn't until recently I started publishing my works. Having a real job, building a house and raising a family was issues more important than following my dream—to write.KINGSHIP is based on historical events from a time when the Kingdom of the Isles, now the Hebrides, was under Norse rule. Kingship introduces you to real historical figures, and I am proud to say I descend from Torleif Haraldsson myself. Which is the reason for my undertaking of this elaborate task? For seven years I was writing on Throne Thief and Blood Bound, and I spent another seven years writing Betrayal and Accursed. Will it be another seven years to complete the series, I hope not. Book five, Enslaved, is well under way and most of the story of book six and seven is outlined—I only have to look into history to find exciting scenes to write.The Allfirda Saga is a different chapter all together. From the late eighties to recently I was part of a LARP Organiser group making Larps in a fantasy based world, and now, these scenarios are transformed into books. It really is going the other way around than most stories. I'm not going to elaborate on the stories, but they will be following the same outline as the LARPs. So most books in that series will have been play-tested. :-) And I find that some of the characters are just great, I have to elaborate on them to find out why they do what they do. That means there will be some spin off books following a few of the characters in stead of following the series story. But, what comes first, I still don't know.
