Janet Joanou Weiner grew up in southern California and studied French against her 6th-grade teacher's advice that she'd never use it. Very glad she stuck with her preference, Janet has lived in France for almost twenty years. First in the Alps, followed by several significant years in the center of Paris. Currently, Janet and her husband reside in St. Hippolyte du Fort in southern France, where they established a Christian training center, YWAM Bridges of Life. She has also lived in Amsterdam, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Kona, Hawaii. In addition, Janet's traveled for her work in Christian ministry to over forty countries.Despite missing her four children and four grandchildren, who all live in the US, Janet loves her life! She delights in the endless opportunities to discover past stories of depth and inspiration while soaking up the beauty, culture, and history all around her.
