Description
Big Ben, is a lonely youth who travels to the Australian outback for a break, winds up saving a koala mother and her joey from a wild fire and in the end finds love, friendship and worth. “The Koala Keeper,” is a 785 word picture book about Big Ben who leaves the big city for a peaceful weekend in the Australian outback.

Instead he’s soon on an adventure when he takes sympathy on an exhausted koala mother and her joey. Scared and out of shape Big Ben musters the courage to carry the little ones to safety by dodging in, and out running the flames.

His courageous act of self sacrifice is rewarded by gaining friends, the affection of a koala mother and a position of helping hurt koalas at The Koala Hospital. .
