Helen comes home and everything should be wonderful. Even if she's returning due to a divorce.

But there is more. Can this family be saved? Her sisters are all making terrible life decisions.

They clearly need Helen to help them out. She offers advice but for some reason they don’t like it.

The sisterly fighting escalates to a peak where she’s uninvited even from dinner. Recovering sisterly connection will take a gargantuan effort.

Helen knows effort. She proposes an epic hike: backpacking along the mythic Bay of Fundy.

Strangely, her decidedly indoorsy sisters agree. The four set out to navigate the physical and emotional challenges of the trip, determined to make it work in spite of each other.

Or maybe everyone is seeking something. Gorgeous wilderness, spectacular heights, sea and cliffs and wildlife are nothing compared to the collision of demons from the past and fears for the future.

With only each other to count on, and relationships already fraying, anything could happen. And, of course, it does.

Returning to Stella Mare was hard. Regaining her place in the family was harder.
