Born and raised in Norway, Ray Wennerstroem grew up surrounded by stories told by his grandmother, great-grandmother, and his father. The stories were often steeped in fairytale myths of trolls, hags, and gnomes, set in the ancient Norwegian woods he played in as a boy, and haunting tales of ghostly encounters. This, perhaps more than anything else, gave him a love and attraction for stories and storytelling, and so, when he was twelve, Ray decided to become a writer. After some years of pursuing music (he still considers himself a drummer when the mood strikes), he turned his attention to writing.He has published three books ranging from adult horror to children's fantasy.
