I am a happy, optimistic soul who is married and has two young children.I graduated from university with a degree in criminology way back in 2005. Since then I have worked within substance misuse support services and youth justice. Writing has always been a cathartic release for me and this has resulted in a collection of over thirty feature screenplays. I plan to adapt some of these into books in the future as my dance-card empties of parental and adulting commitments.I have a non-fiction book called: 'Breaking Dad: Man-Up Snowflake', which was published with Olympia Publishers back in September 2023. As positive and enjoyable as this experience was, it took around two years to come to fruition. As a result I have decided to self-publish a selection of poetry, children's books, fiction, and non-fiction on KDP as a means of enjoying the continued cathartic experience, ownership of control, developing my writing skills, and hopefully finding readers who enjoy my books. I published my first KDP poetry collection called: 'The Good, The Dad & The Fugly' in the Spring of 2024. This is a comical number which explores everything from my schoolboy-errors as a dad - to grief. It is injected with humour, optimism and positivity.My second book on KDP is: 'Captain George's Swashbuckling Tales: Part One'.
