From kindergarten, Nathan was enthralled by his outstanding performance in school. Even as a toddler, he dreamed whimsically of attaining higher levels of education in the future.

Achieving ambitious dreams becomes more manageable when the path is smoother than rough. In 2001, his father enrolled him in the community primary school, Enyim, for his basic education.

However, experienced the first dark side of life on April 15, 2005, when he learned about the unfortunate affliction that befell his father upon returning home. He entered a deep tantrum mode, weeping, screaming, and refusing to be consoled, as his father, Mr.

Patrick Umoke, was diagnosed with partial stroke during a visit to the farm to gather produce. He graduated from primary school with flying colors, earning a scholarship to study at Grace Model Comprehensive Secondary School in Izhia Ngbo.

He enjoyed his junior secondary school years until August 20, 2007, when he fell into a deep well in his compound while attempting to draw water as usual. Miraculously, he emerged from the well filled with a considerable volume of water, as nobody was nearby to help him.

The force that pulled him into the well remained unimaginable to him and his neighbors, given that the well was built with a concrete pavement. As if this weren't enough, during his first term in JSS2, he suddenly developed difficulty in writing, affecting his results due to delays and the need to shake his hand countlessly before writing letters on the exam sheets.

Worried about the circumstances and seeking solutions, his father passed away on December 5, 2008, after suffering from paralysis. Upon receiving the tragic news, he was left speechless, shaking his hands in a zigzag manner, whining without speaking, and deeply affected by the loss.

After his father's burial, he changed school to join his sister. He obtained his Junior Secondary School Certificate (JSSC) happily and proceeded to senior secondary class.

However, on July 12, 2011, he developed eye problems—pain, tears, and difficulty opening his eyes, especially when exposed to white objects or visible light. Despite the progressive nature of his eye defect, he managed to sit for the examination and passed, though with a decline in performance.

Deeply perturbed by the eye issue, which defied all medications, hindering his ability to read, he engaged in fervent prayers, hoping to improve his impaired vision. He switched to Community Secondary School Umuezeokoha to obtain his West Africa Secondary School Certificate (WASSC) in 2012 due to the high registration fee in his former school, beyond his financial capability.

Despite the odds, he remained faithful to his dream of becoming a graduate, fondly called 'corper' in secondary school due to his participation in a corper role dramatic sect. In pursuit of his dreams, he promptly enrolled in a teaching job immediately after completing his secondary education.

Unfortunately, his mother passed away on April 14, 2014, the same year he gained admission to study Electrical/Electronic Engineering at Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana. At that moment, it seemed like all hope in education was lost for him, but as the saying goes, God gives hope to the hopeless.

Miraculously, he entered higher education to pursue his dream course in 2015. However, his eye defect resurfaced with full force just two days before his first-semester examination.

Despite the challenges, he narrowly avoided missing the examination, securing victory with the help of God. In his second year, he battled mental disorder, a struggle that nearly claimed his life, but ultimately, he triumphed.

Throughout his time in higher education, he faced various life-threatening sicknesses and challenges. Despite these adversities, he maintained his steadfast Christian faith, pushing harder to overcome every obstacle.
