He spent years working in residential communities investigating crime and working with communities on crime-prevention initiatives. Later, he served as a detective in an undercover surveillance unit tasked with monitoring career offenders. Almost a decade after he began police work, he accepted a seconded appointment to serve with the United States International Police Contingent attached to the United Nations Police in Kosovo. There, he served his mission as a Unit Chief supervising a team of international and local police officers and support staff on enforcement operations and post-conflict capacity development.Dominic continued his international police service with a posting in the Kingdom of Jordan as a Team Leader / Instructor to the Iraqi Police Service at the Jordanian International Police Training Center. 3000 recruits attended training under his direction. Later, in Southern Sudan, Dominic worked alongside local police commissioners as an International Police Adviser assisting in program development, training, communications and post-civil war drive to independence.International assignments also included training hundreds of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority cadets, several months in Philippines and program development projects in Trinidad and The Bahamas.Dominic has extensive global travel experience.
