Art theft in Santa Fe is the theme of the Running Investigations 2 sequel (to Santa Monica Dead Palms - Running Investigations 1) mystery starring sleuths Cleve Cartridge as well as his assistants, sub-two-minute 800m runners and partners Esperanza Cather and Olivia Pillsbury. Any of painter Red Star, Silver Zorro Gallery proprietor Guadalupe La Llorona, garden shop owner and tutor Francisco de Oñate, Jicarilla Apache and computer nerd David Concho, New Mexico Congressman Dart Dunkleman, as well as unusual RdH gang members, may well know more about valuable disappearing art pieces than they admit.

Zorrita in all black is another who may be involved with certain deceptive practices. And what, pray tell is El Milagro?.
