Prior to taking up full-time writing, Tushar Choudhary held a senior technical leadership position at a multinational company, wherein he provided technical direction to multiple R&D programs. Tushar’s cutting edge technology innovations have resulted in numerous prestigious awards/honors.Tushar’s love for research began at a very early age inspired by his father, a renowned Indian scientist. This love for research prompted his scientific career and passion for writing. Tushar completed his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, where he was honored with the 2002 Distinguished Graduate Student Award for excellence in research. Subsequently, Tushar joined the R&D Division of a multinational energy company. There, he consistently spearheaded technology innovations, which led to numerous awards and honors within and external to the company. Some of his external awards include the Oklahoma Chemist of the Year Award (American Chemical Society), Global Indus Technovator Award (MIT), and South-West Industrial Innovation Award (American Chemical Society). He has given keynote lectures at several major symposiums and his highly impactful research has received visibility in trade/scientific magazines, such as Chemical & Engineering News and Science. He was ranked amongst the World's Top 2% researchers (all disciplines) in 2020 in terms of career-long impact from his research publications.Prior to retiring, Tushar served in a dual role as the Director of Technology Analysis & Advancement and Sr. Principal Scientist. Along with providing research direction to multiple research programs, he also played an important role in the development of early career researchers. He served as the lead author for a comprehensive course related to improving the efficiency of Industrial R&D and delivered a series of presentations related to Energy & Technology Innovation.
