The point of this novel should be clearly stated, perhaps between you, The Reader, and I, The Narrator. IT is that the story, locked in these pages, is about Joshua Carpenter and how he accidentally chooses to change.

It is in the way most men do; that is, by falling in love with above average women. Amelia Walters is an embodiment of the pithy quote, "behind every great man, is a greater woman" and the object of his desire.

IT climaxes as our protagonist realizes he's the victim, in an abusive relationship, with The Church. This is a story about how often life throws us into a world outside of the average, the mediocre, and thrusts us into valleys of shadows of DEATH.

For that, I must be brutally truthful, most people who read this book will fail to understand ITs meaning; but to those who get IT, a *nudge, a *wink, and a *nod will suffice, because some things are better left unsaid. The contract between you, The Reader, and I, The Narrator, will be this: if you proceed further, you agree to read about this very average man, being thrust into a less than average scenario, at your own risk.
