I'm a father, a competitive strategist, and a trauma recovery coach. I spent my first 56 years on the planet sleepwalking. I built a world that had all the trappings of success, and, by all outward measures, it was a happy life. Sadly, it was anything but. After being divorced by my wife, I realized that the life I had created for myself was really a life I had created for everyone but myself. It was as though I'd created a world that didn't include me, and I felt alone, lonely, and desolate. My partner of nine years introduced me to some men who were part of an organization called The Mankind Project, and that was the beginning of a journey that continues to this day! Since then, I have done years of personal work through several modalities, and have studied to become a trauma recovery coach, focused on helping men identify the things that cause them suffering as adults. This book, and what will follow from it, is the next step of this journey for me, and the opportunity I have been given to fulfill my purpose in this life, share my experiences, and share the tremendous gifts I have received with other men who desperately need it for themselves.
