THE BIG INDIANI'm not actually the author, as my mother has already passed away, but I am her son who is publishing it.I was all fine and dandy during the publication of this book, including not only reading it 3 different times just to reminisce about our time over there, and then proof-reading it 6 different times making sure that each and every "i" was dotted, and every "t" was crossed. That is, until I saw it actually published, and then that's when the tears began to flow down my cheeks.. This book was now actually turned into a real book....This book actually sat on, or in my desk for over 4 decades, until I got bored this past winter and picked it up to start reading it. From that point on, I was mesmerized, drawn in so deep that I read it cover-to-cover 3 different times. That's when I knew this book was way more than what I ever imagined, so I knew it had to be published. I spent the next 4 weeks going through it 6 more times proof-reading it, as it had been typed by hand way back starting from 1979 until 1982, so there was definitely a mistake here and there.And now, yes, now, it is a real book that I can share with the world our adventures, both good and bad, that we encountered throughout the 7-month journey around the world.
